Sometimes I am overwhelmed with awe and love.

Cereal time

Mom, I don't want to go to daycare-I just want to roll around and read books!

Books follow her everywhere-car, the table, hallway, she is always flipping through her books. Looking forward to regular trips to the library this summer!

Snuggling a sleeping toddler is one of the best things.

Recently Olivia got sick again with a virus, she was one of the best snugglers as I stayed home with her. She continued to improve over the weekend. She is a champ at taking her medicine and continues to ask for her vitamin d (it tastes and smells awful). We even got to take her out for her first sushi experience. Let's say I think we will have to continue to expose her as steamed rice was her favorite of the night. She did enjoy watching the fish tank and waiters.

A little yard work, it's never too early to start them. She will have to learn the difference between weeds and plants we want to keep. She was helpful with picking up rocks from the driveway and putting them towards the road-only tried to put a few in her mouth along the way.

Round 2 of swim lessons has begun. We did them in August first, to just give her experience in the water. This time she seemed more comfortable and was able to have more fun. She got to go down the slide for the first time. Her was was adorable-between I don't know if I should like this and turned into a huge grin, then she wanted to go down again. Looks like we might be going to the pool and splash parks this summer!

I am loving that she wants to look under her dresser, the couch, or ottoman-really anything she can.
Olivia is working on getting her top two front teeth. Right now she still only has her bottom two teeth. This definitely doesn't slow down her ability to try new foods or be a wonderful eater. Sometimes we can't seem to keep enough food on her plate during meal times. Some of her favorites include: strawberries, cheese, peas & carrots, and meat. She is enjoying playing with books, boxes, push cars, and anything to can put on and take off of her head. Sometimes she cracks us up by covering her face, walking, and giggling. The many sounds she makes is increasing- dog, dad, mom, uhoh along with many other noises. She is a great pointer to communicate. She tries to make her own phone calls-it's adorable as she walks around with the phone or remote to her ear gabbing away. We are truly blessed with this little one.

Stay tuned....spring is going to break a lot of outside time for this little one.
