6 Months

So we made it through the 6 month check up barely. We thought Olivia had a cold or was teething, but she had an ear infection. Our little girl was a trooper. She got her 3 vaccines and started medicine to treat the ear infection. She definitely was NOT a fan of the pink medicine. We are going to have to keep an eye on her....she is tricky, not really letting us know she wasn't feeling well. Other than the bad part of our appointment, the doctor said she looks like the Gerber baby. Everything is going in the right direction. She even got to spend a sick day with her dad. She is still a happy little girl even with an ear infection.
Her stats: 17.5 lbs and 26.25 inches.

Some new accomplishments for her include:
trying to pull herself up, trying to stand on her own (thinking she can), and being an awesome log roller.

At the end of the week we had our first sleepover at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Blake was doing some work on our house that we didn't want Olivia to be around for so that meant a trip to Boone for Olivia and me. She did a wonderful job sleeping in the pack n play again. However, as I slept in the same room I came to notice that she does make some noises throughout the night that I usually don't hear through the monitor and let's say she got the better night sleep. I kept thinking she was waking up and I wanted to make sure that she didn't wake up my parents. Spending the night in Boone also worked out for us because my dad's family had a picnic in Boone that we were able to attend. Olivia got to meet even more family!

I am cherishing morning and bedtime snuggles each day. She also loves grabbing the camera during the picture.

Selfies

One thing she is loving now is rolling all over our big bed.

Something else she is loving is looking at her books.

Swing time, trying to enjoy some of the nice weather.

Stay tuned.....as she continues to melt our hearts with her squeals, giggles, and breathy noises. We are in suspense as to what she will tell us when she begins to talk.
Look mom, I CAN pull myself up
