Too Much Fun

Loving her backpack, she enjoys emptying it.

Springbreak has brought a lot of fun this year-trips to the zoo, lunch with dad, dinners and playtime with cousins, and walks to enjoy the nice weather we got to have for a bit.

Trying to take registers out of the floor, how fun?

We have been loving this nice weather, looking forward to having more of it.

She is loving her snacks right now.....mostly fishies

Messing around in her bedroom

Spooning her boppy, a new way of falling asleep

Cruising the neighborhood in her jammies, that's how she rolls.

So sweet
Enjoying our first trip to the Blank Park Zoo this year, thanks Grammy & Pop- can't wait to bring you here with us.

Stay tuned.....more outdoors fun to be had!

Life is Good

Good Food
This weekend was full of good. We began the weekend by celebrating Blake's 30th birthday. My parents came down to watch Olivia so Blake and I could go out for a lovely birthday breakfast at the Drake Diner and run a few errands, kid free.

She is loving pizza these days.
Good Friends
Then we got to spend dinner with some old friends from Boone. It was a good evening spent playing with new friends for Olivia. It was darling to see all of them running around-we even got a cute picture of all of them before the evening was over.

Olivia is working on overcoming a double ear infection with round two of antibiotics. She really is a trooper-we went in for her first year check up and left with thinking wow! how does she handle this without complaining. Hoping she gets over this quickly; it is hard knowing that she could be uncomfortable even though she gives us no indication.....

Doing flips, or at least trying.

Getting in a quick nap (about 2 hrs) to prepare for a shoe shopping trip to the mall.

The big girl in her new shoes.
She wore them out of the store, once they were on they were hers.
It really is a Good Life, making memories with friends and family.
Stay tuned....

We have a 1 year old!

Where does the time go?
I look at Olivia and think wow, how do we have a 1 year old?!
This little girl really does light up our lives.

Hanging out with her older cousin, Avery. She loves spending time with her-always gives a huge grin.

Shopping continues to wear her out, grateful she took a nap.

Playing peekaboo in her closet

Reading books with Gus, they love giving her kisses and she tries to give them right back-we've got to teach her the closed mouth kiss.

Having too much fun with daddy

She loves to dance, anytime she hears music she begins to dance. We are loving impromptu family dance parties.

Stay tuned....She is full of spunk and sass, I wonder where she gets that from?

Having a ball

Weekly breakfast and grocery shopping at Hy-Vee

Playing in her tunnel

Enjoying climbing-she climbs on anything and everything she can

A few from the carnival, from an earlier post

She loved running around and seeing all the people, especially her cousins.

Note the missing sock and shoe. Shopping wore her out.

Don't worry, I can feed myself.
She devoured the deer meat that night, thanks Chris and Peggy!

Stay tuned.....Olivia is having fun

Falling in Love All Over Again

Love is in the air. Last Valentine's Day was spent as a family in the NICU, so much has changed within a year. This year our hearts are so full to have a healthy growing girl and spending Valentine's day as a family at home.

Someday she will tell me to stop taking her picture so much

Daycare gifts

Special toes

Liv's gifts, she got 2 plates to learn on, a few board books, and some paint

We decided to begin a family tradition of 14 days of letting our little one know all we love about her. We decorated her door each day with a heart and message. We read them to her, excited for the day that we can let her add to them and expand on this family activity.

Her kisses are priceless, now she is blowing them too
Stay tuned.....our little valentine is so sweet and cute!
