It's been awhile for posting and more inconsistent.....I knew it would be hard for me to keep it up, but I will continue to try.

Liv has moved up rooms at daycare-she continues to be one of the younger ones because as they tranistion kiddos she is too active for the next group. I think she holds her own, thankfully. Her language continues to grow and conversations are way more fun. I love hearing her string together 2-3 and sometimes even four word sentences. Today as entering the parking lot at the library, "I see trees." She will also call out to us "mommy" "mommy" "mommy" and I'll say what. She continues and then I'll say her name back to her and she ask, "what?"

She is loving dance parties, Frozen (still), being outside all the time-coloring with chalk, riding her bike (big wheel), swinging, running around the yard, supervising Blake on projects as well as my poop scooping, and walking down to the pond to fish. She touches them and even held one. I love that her interests are wide and plenty.

Bed and bath are becoming a little frustrating some nigths. She doesn't want to miss anthing so tells us "no" each evening when the time comes, even though once she is in the bath/shower she doesn't want to get out. She also enjoys her bedtime routine of brushing/flossing, reading books, prayers and snuggling. She is doing well with falling asleep on her own now (with the door open) and some nights with her guard dog, Gus laying beside her bed. It's hit or miss some weeks on how many full nights sleep we get, but she is only 2 and doing such a great job at being our big girl already. She says prayers for everyone in her family, throws mickey mouse in there at time, and baby each night along with kisses and snuggles. She calls herself big sister, which is one of the most adorable things ever.

Above 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months.
Baby Marlowe #2 seems to be a mover and a shaker, especially when I get the chance to put my feet up at night or during the time I should be sleeping. It seems to me, this time around I'm having more trouble sleeping throughout the night and my hips are aching while I should be sleeping. Overall I feel very well and similar to the first go around. We are between 24-25 weeks, with summer around the corner. We are all excited and nervous-this will be big adjustment to our routines.  I feel that when summer hits the time will fly by and baby will be here!

Springbreak Fun

We are halfway to meeting Baby Marlowe 2, I can't believe that we are at 20 weeks. I started feeling flutters around 18 weeks, and at this week I am definitely starting to feel pregnant. It has flown by because Olivia is keeping us busy! She is as sweet as ever and continues to talk about baby and how that will be baby's room. She gives snuggles and kisses to baby. She is super excited to become a big sister. She always wants to peek at the babies at daycare when we come or go.

Some Livism's: It's hard to make to ensure that some of the adorable things she does won't be forgetten as she grows and develops new skills. She is such a talker, her language is changing so quickly these days. She calls octopuses-applesauce, elephants-elnats, grandpa-papa, grandma-mama (I am mommy). She is loving fruits, yogurt, crackers, chips, veggies are still up there thankfully, and has figured out candy is yummy. She isn't so much into ice cream, but popsicles are a favorite.

Science Center Fun-we went with some friends-Trevor & Tori, she had a blast exploring and having lunch dates at Legends.

We are excited to go back again-this will be a great addition to our Zoo pass and things to do this summer!

We even visited the botanical center downtown, it was a place that my grandpa took me to growing up. She had a blast walking around checking out all the leaves (not much flowering yet), picking out seeds to plant this summer, if she can talk daddy into helping her, and making a bracelet out of foilage-which she later tried to eat. She kept telling me how hot it was in there, she definitely did not have to tell me-it was 92.something and 42% humidity. It was fun nevertheless and I'm sure we will make it back sometime.

Time off-means visiting the cousins, Liv loves playing and just being around Avee, Sam, and Weeg.

We look forward to swimming, park visists, exploring the science center and other experiences we find along the way in the area, seeing the animals at the zoo, and a trip to the Omaha zoo this summer. We need to get some fun  in before baby comes :)
