9 Months and Look Who's Talking

No, she isn't talking yet in words, but she definitely has a lot to say. I love hearing her babble and develop language. She is a girl fully of confidence and independence. She knows what she likes, where she wants to go, and figures out how to get there and get what she wants.

Don't worry I'm tough, I can handle myself
You should have seen the other guy.....Olivia and another little one at daycare were playing together and the other child whacked at her leaving a mark. They both wanted the same toy, thankfully Olivia handled it very well from what we hear-just a few surprised tears.

A few random Halloween pictures. She looks adorable in her jammies and of course her mommy loves her!

I can't get enough of letting her nap while I hold her on the weekends, does this play into her not napping well at daycare? I'm sure it does somewhat, but I'm not willing to give it up yet and I know she needs to sleep so while I can I am taking full advantage. Plus she continues to be content throughout the day and sleeps well as night so.......

 Helping mom clean
Olivia enjoys feeling the air blow through her hair. She followed me around as I vacuumed the house so she could stand by the blow out of the vacuum, Blake had to keep coming over to move her away. She seemed to have a lot of fun.

Go State!
A little shopping trip with the girls. It was a long day of shopping!

Having some fun
Olivia enjoys her books, she just decided to get ALL of them out. We are working on the picking up after yourself.

She figured out that it's fun to play under the dining room table while Mom & Dad make dinner.

Extra snuggles, yes please! Feeling sick, no thanks!
Little one was sick so Blake and I each took 1 day off each to stay home with her. I took her to the doctor where we found out that she is on her 3rd ear infection of the year. We continue to struggle getting her to take the medicine, but we do our best. She again amazes me as she is not fussy even though I know she doesn't feel well. As she hasn't been feeling well, she has wanted her pacifier-she hasn't been one to use it ever. We do love the extra snuggles!

Look out world!
Olivia has been practicing standing on her own quite a bit, very soon I'm sure we will have a walker on our hands.  So far she has only face planted once....I'm guessing with her willingness to let go we will have a few more of these instances before she becomes confident and stable.

Stay tuned.....I'm getting ready to walk!
