Starting a blog-let's see how long this lasts and if it's any good. Mostly I wanted to start a blog to keep in contact with Blake's family in order to keep them informed about our most exciting change-Change #2
Baby Marlowe is on the way! As I begin we are entering our 24th week (6 months) - almost to our 3rd trimester!! Today I had my sister take some maternity photos to add to the baby book (see above)-a good time to start a blog and start sharing.Change #3
As the new school year started, I began a new adventure...no longer a Kindergarten teacher after 6 years, but a K-3 interventionist. This new endeavor gives me the chance to work with some of the students that I have had in the past, use my ELL endorsement, and learn from other teachers to expand my teaching. It has come with a few hiccups of WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO....to this is a nice change of pace. I am learning so much in this new role, being on the other side of things, new grade-levels, and a new area. However, I do know that I think my heart belongs to Kindergarten-ask me that again when the year is over and we'll have to see what my answer is then.

Moving....Blake & I put our house on the market in May and had hopes of moving during the summer. As a teacher, that is when I have the most flexibility. Did that happen? NOPE. We did move about 2 weeks ago-onto a piece of land with 3.3 acres. It is an exciting adventure, but so much work. Especially since I can't do any heavy lifting-Blake & my family have been amazing throughout the move. I have found out that I do a nice job of directing where things belong.
